AI for Scrum Masters is a live, instructor-led workshop for Scrum Masters and agile team leaders who want practical ways to use generative AI without turning team leadership into automation theater. It is aligned to the Scrum Alliance AI for Scrum Masters microcredential and shaped for Grow-Lean's hands-on style.
Generative AI can help Scrum Masters prepare better conversations, improve team communication, identify risks, review metrics, and design experiments for team improvement. It cannot replace the human work of reading the room, building trust, coaching people, or protecting Scrum accountabilities.
In this workshop, you use AI as a co-pilot for real Scrum Master work: improving Scrum events, summarizing decisions, preparing coaching questions, exploring team health signals, and creating a responsible personal AI toolkit.
A four-hour core workshop with an optional one-hour bonus lab. The core earns the microcredential; the bonus lab gives you supported practice against real team scenarios.

This class is for people who help agile teams improve and want to use AI responsibly in that work.
You do not need to be an AI expert. Basic Scrum familiarity is useful because the exercises assume you understand Scrum events, accountabilities, artifacts, and team improvement work.

Scrum Masters already work in ambiguity: team dynamics, organizational friction, unclear goals, weak feedback loops, and difficult conversations. This class uses AI to make that work more visible and easier to prepare for, while keeping the Scrum Master accountable for the human parts of the role.
You leave with draft prompts, a responsible-use checklist, AI-assisted facilitation patterns, and outputs tied to a real team challenge instead of generic examples.
Scrum Master experience comes first, AI second. The goal is better facilitation, coaching, transparency, and continuous improvement.
There is no examination required to earn the AI for Scrum Masters microcredential. Participating in the live session earns the credential. Grow-Lean covers the credentialing fee.
The AI for Scrum Masters badge does not expire and pairs naturally with CSM, A-CSM, or CSP-SM credentials by showing applied AI capability in service of team effectiveness.
