The material presented was so well laid out and informative. I learned many new acronyms as well as new concepts. My instructor Arlen Bankston was one of the absolute best I have ever had if not the best. He has a great persona and presents extremely well. Arlen offers many real-world examples and welcomes feedback on what's happening in everyone else's organization. I plan to review the material over and over to pull valuable nuggets for future use. I would highly recommend Grow-Lean and especially Arlen as the instructor.

Five weeks ago I hasn’t even heard about the concept of Agile Development. Last night I passed the CSM exam and was able to score 96%. This success is almost entirely down to the fantastic structure and clarity of the training course offered by Grow Lean, and the bright, supportive, positive and inspiring tutition of highly experienced trainer Don Patti. Taking a Grow Lean class means you benefit from their years of industry experience and course development. With the educational materials all being well refined and honed to give you clear and detailed information. It’s also worth pointing out just how much FUN the class is to take. For me that enjoyment of the experience was all down to the excellent atmosphere and approach of trainer Don Patti, and the highly enjoyable learning experience he has crafted as part of Grow Lean. Grow Lean also provide a lot of support with using Miro, and with practice exams. It cannot be overstated just how useful those practice tests are. Huge respect and appreciation is also due to the other learners on the course who also helped make this such a fun and positive experience.

David Bulkin's ACSM course was thought-provoking and had lots of examples of real-world applications. The mechanics of Agile were baked into the course in a way that didn't overshadow everything else. I was even able to take some of what I learned and applied it to my workplace before completing all the sessions.

I didn't had to dose off in my chair for 1 bit and Don kept it so interesting and made us all smile with his itty bitty jokes that made me interactive during the whole 3 days. The best thing, even we are out of time, Don gave us time to answer questions and in detail informing us the agile way and difference between do agile and being agile. Is a very interesting and enjoyable training

My experience with taking the certified scrum master class with DP was exceptional. DP made our class experience fun and facilitated a great learning environment. I most appreciated the first lesson on creating our breakout groups, and felt grateful to be closely connected to 2-3 other individuals on the call. Between video breakdowns, book recommendations, real world scenarios and group activities, I feel more prepared and knowledgable about scrum to pass my test and provide this support and leadership to teams in the future. 10/10 would reccommend to others.

The Scrum Professional course is my 5th with Grow Lean and I'll continue to come back because the instructors are so knowledgeable. Whether the classes are big or small, the instructors make time to answers any questions we have. Arlene and David are awesome!

I took the course within 3 days and I had a great instructor-Don Patti. I didn't take my exam until a month and a half later (due to traveling and work) and I still completed in a very timely manner with a 94% passing rate. I also appreciated that his class was split into 3 days (5 hours each day) instead of the typical 2 days (8 hours each day). Being on Zoom is tiring, so it was nice to have shorter days.

Our trainer required participation, which is good. There wasn't a list of objectives or principles to memorize, it was moreso a challenge to think critically and outside the box.

I had taken the CSM certification training with David a few years back, and when the time came I selected to train with Grow-Lean for my CSPO certification as well. As expected, David was very absolutely brilliant in keeping everyone engaged, and I came away feeling confident that I can do a better job in my role as a PO. I would definitely consider Grow-Lean for my future training needs. It was what I call "high-octane" and I loved it.

My instructor was David and being new to tech/IT he really explained everything perfectly. He kept us engaged and made sure we knew everything before moving on to different topics. His approach to teaching ensured everyone was not memorizing material but actually learning and applying it!

I really appreciate that Don has actual experience in what he teaches but also is able to teach. That is not always the case with people in a teaching role. The was one of the best continued education courses I've taken. I am genuinely impressed with the knowledge my instructor, Chris, had. He was able to answer, from experience, questions far outside of scope with ease and to offer advice on how to handle certain situations should they arise. There is zero doubt in my mind that I'm going to be able to pass this cert. It will be mostly due to the instruction I received. The presentations and group activities were spot on in my professional experience. Using those small side meetings to get people talking introduces the mindset needed to be a scrum master. This gave practical experience on top of standard slideshows. You can tell that time and care went into the lesson plan. I am beyond impressed and this was thoroughly worth the time.

this was an excellent course! It was overloaded with material but Donald managed to go though all of it with a enough level of detail. I appreciate deep and wide experience and knowledge which Donald shared with us. He clearly distinquished 'official' state of the art and his own opinions during discussions. He supported the discussions and our activity (without it, remotly, it wouldn't be possible to stay active and take this amount of knowledge). The tools, technology etc worked perfectly and even when something was wrong Donald reacted quickly and effectively and modified the way of running the course in the best way. All answers, even not really about S@S were answered deeply enough. I will recommned Donald to all my colleagues :)

Grow Lean provided me with outstanding training. My instructor was personable, knowledgable, and engaged with the class. I felt like I left with a small group of new friends as well as a certificate. The class was fascinating and fun; the activities and interactions between participants in the call were really nice and always keeping the ides of Scrum in practice. The use of visuals and images to support the ideas and concepts is great to help to retain the information. I had so much fun and I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

I took the ACSM course with David. It was great to dig deeper into some of the topics you would cover in the CSM course, but with more of a focus on real world implementation and problem solving. The course ran at 6 am local time for me and still managed to be very engaging despite the early hour!

Arlen is very knowledgeable and provides real world examples from his experience. The course is light weight, but provides robust insight into advancing scrum and agility.

David Bulkin was my instructor and he did a great job. I especially loved the fact that he spent time on the terminology but his main focus was application of the concepts. Sure you can read a book about a car but can you drive it. If people were paying attention they should know how to drive so to speak after taking his/your course.

The training offered by Grow-Lean for the Certified Scrum Master was interactive and very informative, I was also able to retake my class to ask further doubts. I highly recommend taking this course from Grow- Lean!!

I am typically not a fan of Mural, but I thought in this instance it was laid out well and facilitated real good conversations. I appreciated it wasn't a flat Powerpoint read out. It was also nice that there was a lot of time for our class to bring in our own working life challenges for peer discussion/recommendations.

Mr. Arlen Bankston was an outstanding instructor. He is very knowledgeable of the topic and speaks from his own experience and not from a slide. The class was very interactive and fun. I enjoyed the Mural presentation because they were a lot of fun and easy to understand. I also liked the assignments that required us to get in teams. Sometimes articles aside from the reading book gave me a better idea and understanding of the subject for the course. I never expected to learn so much from an online class; I now see Scrum in a whole new way. I will reach out to him for future classes or some advice.

It was fantastic, cleared up so many of the concepts that I wasn't sure about and also provided some amazing insight on how to deal with things at the workplace, we went through many scenarios and discussed them in detail, and David Bulkin was amazing, willing to stay after class for as long as we wanted in order to help clear up anything we may have missed.

David provided a wealth of information that came from decades of real world experience. The conversations within helped connect the concepts to actual situations. There was a good blend of practical advice and application with theory and concepts for deeper study.

I found Don's training to be incredibly engaging, thoughtful and fun! I was actually sad when it ended. Had the pleasure to take Donald Patti's Certified Scrum Master training, and as always his structure and content delivery makes it very easy to follow intense course work. There are many simulations and group exercises discussed through Miro board with Zoom breakout rooms for team discussions. Don makes his class very engaging, and quite entertaining with metaphors and real life examples. I previously took his SAFe POPM class and I personally find him to be a tremendous teacher. Highly recommend taking Don's classes.

He was also very nimble and adjusted content on the fly as questions came up. This is one of the best PD courses I've ever taken. It moved at a good pace, covered all relevant points, and had relevant group exercises. It was obvious the instructor, Donald Patti, was incredibly well versed in the subject details with plenty of life experience to pull examples from. The CSP-SM Training session from Arlen was engaging. He used an assortment of presentation tools and games that made for an interesting learning experience.He is really knowledgeable with a lot of experience that thus his real world examples help with understanding context. Lots of useful content and tools to use in real life.

The instructors at Grow Lean are second to none and have extensive/founding knowledge on all Scrum/Agile principles. The classes are taught in a dynamic and interactive way so to keep you engaged throughout. They make sure to apply all aspects to real life scenarios and can provide so much content it's a shame the classes are only 2 days.

Arlen Bankston took my A-CSPO course and this was the first Scrum course that I recommended to other people because I absolutely loved it. The way he conducted the exercises helped me understand concepts. We also had a small exercise with David Bulkin which was also worth it.

This was another great course provided by David Bulkin! The content was conveyed in a way that was easy to understand, and the ability to work with other class members via breakout rooms helped me practice what was taught. The pace of the course was good, and the structure of the course kept me interested the entire time. I definitely learned a lot from this course; and will apply it to my current job. I plan to take another course from David in the near future!

David was a fantastic facilitator. The two days flew by quickly and everyone was engaged in the conversation. David effectively used Mural to create fun activities and made sure everyone had a voice and participated. There was also enough humor to keep learning fun and interesting, but not enough to be a distraction. I would absolutely take another course with David and Grow-Lean. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.

Excellent course on scrum and the entire framework. The class featured professionals from different backgrounds and the instructor made sure to use relevant examples across the various industries. Schedule was 5 pm to 10:30 pm which suited me best as it didn't intervene with work schedule. Will certainly recommend!
