Our trainer required participation, which is good. There wasn't a list of objectives or principles to memorize, it was moreso a challenge to think critically and outside the box.

I took the CSPO training with Grow-Lean and it met all my expectations. I had taken the CSM certification training with David a few years back, and when the time came I selected to train with Grow-Lean for my CSPO certification as well. As expected, David was very absolutely brilliant in keeping everyone engaged, and I came away feeling confident that I can do a better job in my role as a PO. I would definitely consider Grow-Lean for my future training needs. It was what I call "high-octane" and I loved it.

My instructor was David and being new to tech/IT he really explained everything perfectly. He kept us engaged and made sure we knew everything before moving on to different topics. His approach to teaching ensured everyone was not memorizing material but actually learning and applying it!

The was one of the best continued education courses I've taken. I am genuinely impressed with the knowledge my instructor, Chris, had. He was able to answer, from experience, questions far outside of scope with ease and to offer advice on how to handle certain situations should they arise. There is zero doubt in my mind that I'm going to be able to pass this cert. It will be mostly due to the instruction I received. The presentations and group activities were spot on in my professional experience. Using those small side meetings to get people talking introduces the mindset needed to be a scrum master. This gave practical experience on top of standard slideshows. You can tell that time and care went into the lesson plan. I am beyond impressed and this was thoroughly worth the time.

this was an excellent course! It was overloaded with material but Donald managed to go though all of it with a enough level of detail. I appreciate deep and wide experience and knowledge which Donald shared with us. He clearly distinquished 'official' state of the art and his own opinions during discussions. He supported the discussions and our activity (without it, remotly, it wouldn't be possible to stay active and take this amount of knowledge). The tools, technology etc worked perfectly and even when something was wrong Donald reacted quickly and effectively and modified the way of running the course in the best way. All answers, even not really about S@S were answered deeply enough. I will recommned Donald to all my colleagues :)

I appreciated the way he translated industry-specific terms into broader vocabulary so that people from different professional backgrounds could really connect with the content. David's enthusiasm and passion for both the topic (PO) and teaching in general were infectious, and he had the whole group interacting well. My only change would be around the length and mixing it in with a working day - the 8.5 hours could have used maybe a few more quick breaks to check emails and ensure nothing has burned down.

The class was fascinating and fun; the activities and interactions between participants in the call were really nice and always keeping the ides of Scrum in practice. The use of visuals and images to support the ideas and concepts is great to help to retain the information. I had so much fun and I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

I took the ACSM course with David. It was great to dig deeper into some of the topics you would cover in the CSM course, but with more of a focus on real world implementation and problem solving. The course ran at 6 am local time for me and still managed to be very engaging despite the early hour!

Arlen is very knowledgeable and provides real world examples from his experience. The course is light weight, but provides robust insight into advancing scrum and agility.

David Bulkin was my instructor and he did a great job. I especially loved the fact that he spent time on the terminology but his main focus was application of the concepts. Sure you can read a book about a car but can you drive it. If people were paying attention they should know how to drive so to speak after taking his/your course.

I am typically not a fan of Mural, but I thought in this instance it was laid out well and facilitated real good conversations. I appreciated it wasn't a flat Powerpoint read out. It was also nice that there was a lot of time for our class to bring in our own working life challenges for peer discussion/recommendations.

Had the pleasure to take Donald Patti's Certified Scrum Master training, and as always his structure and content delivery makes it very easy to follow intense course work. There are many simulations and group exercises discussed through Miro board with Zoom breakout rooms for team discussions. Don makes his class very engaging, and quite entertaining with metaphors and real life examples. I previously took his SAFe POPM class and I personally find him to be a tremendous teacher. Highly recommend taking Don's classes.

The classes are taught in a dynamic and interactive way so to keep you engaged throughout. They make sure to apply all aspects to real life scenarios and can provide so much content it's a shame the classes are only 2 days.

Arlen Bankston took my A-CSPO course and this was the first Scrum course that I recommended to other people because I absolutely loved it. The way he conducted the exercises helped me understand concepts. We also had a small exercise with David Bulkin which was also worth it.

This was another great course provided by David Bulkin! The content was conveyed in a way that was easy to understand, and the ability to work with other class members via breakout rooms helped me practice what was taught. The pace of the course was good, and the structure of the course kept me interested the entire time. I definitely learned a lot from this course; and will apply it to my current job. I plan to take another course from David in the near future!

Excellent course on scrum and the entire framework. The class featured professionals from different backgrounds and the instructor made sure to use relevant examples across the various industries. David Bulkin is an amazing instructor! I have taken several certification classes, and David is by far the best and my most favorite instructor ever. David is highly knowledgeable and extremely personable. He easily kept the entire class engaged the entire 16-hour session by making everyone feel included. David also made the material easily digestible by presenting a fantastic breakdown of the information along with relevant real-life examples and experiences. I was not initially excited about taking this class since it was a weekend session. Also, the class happened to fall on the same week that I moved into my new home. However, the time flew by extremely fast. During the time I was in attendance for David's class, I did not think about the many boxes that were sitting around my new home waiting to be unpacked. That says a lot about David and his teaching style. I never actually saw David take a break during the class sessions. The students recognized David as an expert in his field and used their breaks to seek advice or gain more golden nuggets of wisdom from him. David is also a very positive person with great energy, which makes him extremely approachable. If possible, I will definitely take more of David's classes.

I took the certification course over a weekend and it went smoothly. Instructor was knowledgeable and personable. Was a smaller class size which I think contributed to such a positive experience as it allowed for easier slow downs and pacing decisions.

The content itself was great, but I feel like we lost a bit of time reviewing it because the instructor could have been a little more organized. There were times where we skipped over a specific term/concept because it was assumed everyone knew what it meant, and that left me feeling a bit lost trying to catch up. I did pass my exam on the first try after I reviewed materials multiple times, but I feel that I could have gotten a higher score or taken the exam sooner had I not had to review so much on my own.

Highly interactive two day course focusing on many of the pillars of the Product Owner role. Many of the skills being shared were not only communicated, but more importantly, demonstrated during the course. Would highly recommend for POs just getting started and in their first years within the role to hear other perspectives. The class was excellent! David knowns his topics, presents well with examples, and explains things when questions are proposed. He utilized tools, such as Mural, very well with breakouts and activities. Although the class was 9-5, it had built in breaks and activities that kept us engaged without the meeting be a drain or feeling as though it was dragging on. The use of Mural was great; I had experience with Miro in the past and other whiteboards, but using Mural was an excellent way to get experience using a new tool. The course also discussed other tooling options and comparisons that we can use in our own daily processes.

David Bulkin is a great coach. He has great knowledge which he shares through the class. Will surely be helpfull in my career.

The class was very engaging, lots of discussion and fun as well. Instructor had a unique ways of explaining the concept. Loved it. The Mural board was a bit annoying in start and eventually got used to it.

The trainer was highly engaging and used real-world examples to highlight the concepts throughout the course. Based on the practice exams, this course is very efficient at preparing you for the CSM exam.

To be very honest, I thought this is going to be just like other certifications I attended: CSPO and A-CSPO where we'd sit and talk about the basics of PO role and learn about 5-10% of new stuff. This class completely exceeded my expectations. Arlen was an amazing mentor. I learned plenty of new stuff: different PO techniques and tools, how to think like a PO person from different angles I've never encountered in my career so far. This was definitely a course worth attending.

Slides were instructive snd provided information that distinguished SCRUM as one of the Agile frameworks. Very helpful, informative, and preparatory for the CSM exam.

Don did an amazing job instructing the class over the course of a two-day period in preparation for not only the CSM exam, but to assume the duties of a Scrum Master at the conclusion of the course. I highly recommend Don’s course as he remains engaging and energetic throughout the class. I passed the CSM exam immediately following the course with a 98%.

The information was useful and informative. It was mostly review for me, but a good review overall. I didn’t like Miro only for the fact it was clunky and cumbersome in functionality. That could have been because of connectivity or the amount of people working in the space at one time. However I could not download the app on my work computer.

Attended a 2 day session online. Great real world examples and great sharing of tools, tips and recommendations. My recommendation would be to lay out the expectations of the participants a little at front, and cut down on the many many emails I received prior to the class running.

I attended the 2-day session with David during the weekend. It was amazing to learn and get a few agile concepts refreshed with David and the class. The class was just the right size of 10 people allowing David (instructor) to provide an individual focus for each of us. I personally would recommend this course to anyone willing to learn CSM.

This was a refresher CSM course for me. My initial experience with Grow Lean was in 2015 with David Bulkin, as my class instructor in an in-person classroom setting. I was not sure whether an online environment would be beneficial for learning. But I have to command David for clarity of communicating key Agile concepts, ability to effectively train his audience via a remote setting and just an unbridled enthusiasm for Agile methodology. David is a master motivator, who keeps all of his class attendees engaged, participating and learning while have fun! Grow Lean is clearly the best in the business and David Bulkin proved this yet again. I appreciated an opportunity to enhance my knowledge of Agile methodology and looking forward to an Advanced CSM class next month!

The CSM training was very detailed. The class offered several ways to learn and understand SCRUM and AGILE foundation. The class is fast paste, but it allowed everyone time to understand each concept. The class targeted diverse organization. Good introduction to Scrum methodology. Very thorough slide package, with videos embedded. Interesting class activities, with small group exercises in Miro virtual whiteboard. Instructor has software development background, and most of class was presented in that context. It would be helpful to understand how Scrum tools could be used in physical product design. Overall, a good primer for the ScrumMaster exam.
