The Grow-Lean Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner (CSP-PO) is the final product owner class.
Our CSP-PO is 100% live, completely interactive, and slide-free. We deliver it online using Zoom, Mural, Miro, Mentimeter, and several custom-built apps. You will learn from the industry’s most experienced CSP-PO Trainer, Arlen Bankston, as well as other advanced attendees.
This class is 100% live, interactive and collaborative. It includes a variety of custom-built tools and templates (AI-powered and otherwise) that you will find nowhere else.
For instance, we explore a prioritization and de-risking model called JUICE with an associated Skill, Miro Template and Sidekick, and interactive facilitative app. Ideas like this make the experience real and the takeaways uniquely practical.

Your trainer, Arlen Bankston, was among the earliest members of the Scrum Alliance and one of the first trainers to teach the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course. With more than 20 years of experience leading agile consultancies, building and funding his own products, and guiding large-scale organizational transformations, Arlen brings a rare combination of product, leadership, and coaching experience to this advanced course.
Throughout his career, Arlen has worked closely with Product Owners, executives, and teams across both the public and private sectors. In this CSP-PO workshop, he focuses on the real challenges that experienced Product Owners face: leading product strategy, influencing stakeholders, aligning organizations around value, and navigating complex product environments.
Arlen’s background in graphic and instructional design also creates a highly interactive learning experience. Using collaborative tools and structured exercises, he helps experienced Product Owners share perspectives and learn from one another. By taking the session you earn the chance to become a Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner (CSP-PO) as long as already have the A-CSPO Certification and are able to validate at least 24 months in the role of Product Owner, or Product Owner coach, over the last five years.
You also earn the opportunity to pursue guide level certifications:
At present there are few trainers or coaches who have significant product development experience; meaning, there is an opportunity for people like if you have that experience.
The CSP-PO will differentiate you, but more importantly the deep learning will allow you to interview with confidence and apply advanced techniques in your work place.
Taking the session earns you the coveted CSP-PO Certification if you meet the requirements outlined below.
Exams are not currently required for this certification, but are expected to be added soon.

The class was excellent! David knowns his topics, presents well with examples, and explains things when questions are proposed. He utilized tools, such as Mural, very well with breakouts and activities. Although the class was 9-5, it had built in breaks and activities that kept us engaged without the meeting be a drain or feeling as though it was dragging on. The use of Mural was great; I had experience with Miro in the past and other whiteboards, but using Mural was an excellent way to get experience using a new tool. The course also discussed other tooling options and comparisons that we can use in our own daily processes.
